Hey buddy, great review. I always heard that you could not use a DD wheel with this seat but actually never saw someone setting it up or driving on it. I was on the fence about buying but after seeing your video I bought this seat and also the CSL DD 8NM. The seat I’ll receive tomorrow and the CSL DD I’ll only receive on April 10. Would you be so kind to share any address tips that you might have found out after publishing this video in order to make the steering wheel more firm or anything else? I’m quite new to SIM world so all help counts. Thank you so much :)

i have this same setup but with a loadcell pedal, and the 8nm boost pack. I think you made a slight mistake while building though, the strap you have going from your front legs to the wheel bar should only be in that configuration if its folded on the floor, it should be on both front and back legs of the chair and the back legs should be 90 degrees to the floor for the most rigidity. I get absolutely no flex, bunny hop or anything, it's worth experimenting with the setup a bit more just to dial it in although setting this seat up can be a bit clumsy when nothing is locked in, you get used to it quick. hope this helps!

hey thanks for this video. I bought a fgt lite and was worried you could not mount a direct drive wheel, but i also read that comment on reddit where you need to flip the mounting plate 180 degrees in order to mount correctly. Will try this out!

I’m having the same problems having dropped my key in the sink by accident. I have changed the battery inside the key 3 times but the fob kills the battery so I’m assuming it’s internal damage rather than a battery issue. I am now resorting to starting the car the same way you have in this video. The alarm always goes off when I turn the key in the lock from the outside which is annoying and embarrassing especially when in public. Is there any way to avoid the alarm blaring out apart from leaving the car unlocked??

Hey I've got a question, did you leave your sound bar resting on the TV stand during usage? How did it affect the sound quality? Like yourself I may not have enough space for the stand and soundbar?

I changed the battery but I still get a signal of low battery crank engine now everytime I get in the car. The place I bought the car from sent me a key fob without a key inside of it

Great vid mate. When connecting the frame for the peddles I found that if you undo the saddle type clamps "almost" all the way they clip onto the seat frame base very easily. Also make sure the clamps are moved apart as far as possible prior to tightening as this will aid in giving better stability/rigidity when using the peddles.

Great video! I have the I-Pace, but apparently the WATCH version of the app is not available in the US...wtf?? From the accent and a few other clues, I'm guessing you are somewhere in the UK? Please let me know, as I'm then going to to try using a VPN, so it "looks" like I'm wherever you are, and can then get the watch app; we shall see if that works; doubtful, but have to try something since we don't get the watch version over here. (BTW, I do have the regular phone app, which works well, but I'm trying to leave the phone and keys behind when I go to the gym; wish me luck!)

I used ur recommendations a while back, but hadn't seen the Pt2 video. This is the best guide for this rig and wheel combo by a LONG way. The way you mounted the wheelbase to its plate is VERY well explained. Well done, sir!

The bolts supplied with the chair are kind of loose for the pedals , how did you tighten them ?

How/where is your LG C1 setup, it looks like nice with the soundbar in front. I have a 65 inch C1 too, but with the original stand attached my soundbar is too thick and block a portion of the screen, so I need to somehow figure out how to prop it higher, how did you manage that?
